Nominations for the 2016 British Academy Film Awards were announced on January 8th. Here are the films up for Best Documentary:
- “Amy”
- “Cartel Land”
- “He Named Me Malala”
- “Listen to Me Marlon”
- “Sherpa”
“Amy” is also in the running for Outstanding British Film. It should be noted that “Amy,” “Cartel Land,” “He Named Me Malala,” and “Listen to Me Marlon” are also on the shortlist to becoming potential Academy Award nominees. Oscar nominations will be announced on January 14th.
The BAFTAS will be held on February 14th in London.
